I thought I would give an update on this old post as I got some new information on the white french alabaster clock I posted a picture of. As you can see in the picture it has two brass balls glued on to the sides which I was pretty sure were not original, also the little panels had bits of cut out magazine picture stuck on them.

I was looking through the clocks on ebay tonight and look what appeared:-
Just goes to show that if you wait long enough the information can come to light
